Covid-19 UPDATE

We are meeting in person on Sunday mornings, with COVID safety protocols in place For those not ready to worship in person, our sermons and meditations are posted here under Sermons Online and on our YouTube channel.

Due to the guidelines set out by public health and the provincial government, all other programs and events remain on hold.

For many, the initial feeling of crisis has given way to weariness with restrictions and anxiety about the costs and effects of the pandemic.  We encourage everyone to continue to look for opportunities to show compassion and love to others.  If you have a particular need, please contact us.

In a time of fear and anxiety, there is deep strength and peace in Jesus Christ - we know that he is in control and that he loves us!  Be encouraged with these words from Isaiah 41.10: "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Psalm 143:8

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.

Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.

What We Believe:

We believe the Bible is the Word of God.

We believe in the Trinity: God is Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit.

We believe that God's son, Jesus, was born to the Virgin Mary and was both fully human and fully divine while on earth.  Jesus was crucified, died, buried, and rose again after three days.  He returned to heaven, having defeated death, and rules from there as part of the Trinity.

We believe that God created the earth perfectly and that it was ruined by sin through the original disobedience of Adam and Eve.  Our continuing sin separates us from God and results in death.  Jesus died in our place; his crucifixion satisfies the need for justice and his resurrection defeats sin and death.  Through faith in Jesus our relationship with God is restored.  This is a gift of grace freely given.  We cannot earn salvation, we can only accept it.

We believe our task is to reflect the love and grace of Jesus as we join God's work of restoring relationships, creation, and culture until the time God restores it fully and perfectly.

We belong to the Christian Reformed Church (CRC) denomination, which has congregations throughout North America.  You can find more information about the CRC's history, beliefs, and ministries at the denominational website:
